Step 1: To capture an image of an active screen, refer to the figure and press[ Print Screen ](some keyboards have the button as[ Prnt Scrn ]or[ Prt Sc ], please note hot it’s abbreviated on your keyboard.) Once you press it, the screen will not change but will copy the entire image on your screen.



Step 2: Go to[ Start ]>[ All Programs ]>[ Accessories ]>[ Paint ]as shown below.



Step 3: After starting Paint, select[ edit ]>[ paste ].



Step 4: The captured screen image will be pasted into the Paint window. Go to[ File ]>[ Save as ]to save as an image file.
